Working for The Man

Anti-corporation organizations like Adbusters, where this image comes from, make me jealous. I want to work for one. But, you say, “You work in marketing! How can you be jealous of groups that despise what you do?”

You’re right, I work for The Man. I’m fortunate, though, to work at a socially conscious agency that explicitly refuses to work for organizations that offend morality.

At least, that’s what I tell myself to feel good about my what I do. AND, this way when I do go to an anti-marketing organization, I can talk about my “dark” days.
