Panic Attack

Last night on the way home from the coffeeshop, I stopped at the Mobil station three blocks from my house to get my semi-weekly pint of ice cream. After checking to make sure the store wasn't being robbed (hey, it's happened before), I went to the back freezer, went up on my tiptoes and peeked onto the top shelf.
A shudder went over my spine. I saw lots of yellow (which means Chubby Hubby) and lots of blue and green (which means Vanilla), but no purple! NO PHISH FOOD? Who is responsible for this? Did another Phish Food addict go on a mad binge and clean out the shelf of the marshmallow-ey, caramel-ey, phishey goodness?
Someone beat me to it! I opened the door to make sure the frosty glass door wasn't deceiving me. I reached in and threw pints around. I checked behind the row of Chubby Hubby. I guess I could live with banana if I had to. I moved around Cherry Garcia. (Disgusting.) Nothing there... Then I moved the two rows of vanilla, taking each one out one by one.
Finally, finally, finally. In the very back behind every other carton of Ben & Jerry's was one solitary, forgotten pint of Phish Food, its carton half frosted over. I grabbed it and ran, its coldness hurting my fingers. It was the best pint of Phish Food I've ever had.
P.S. Phish Food is a registered trademark of Ben & Jerry's. Ben & Jerry's does not endorse or support helloaaron.com. If it ever made an offer, though, helloaaron.com may possibly consider it.
