After a couple days of boredom at a tradeshow, when the only thing keeping my heart beating was a rubber ball that lit up when it bounced, the work was finally over at 2 p.m. this afternoon, blessing me with a blissful afternoon and evening to do whatever I wanted, without the encumbrance of clients. Charlotte is an interesting town, at least from what I’ve seen. It’s a clean city, with wide, brick sidewalks. Urban parks take strollers through curving, tree-lined trails spiked with hidden speakers that surprise walkers with realistic sounds of bubbling creeks, buzzing insects and whooshing wind…
