Let it Be Done

My civic duty was fulfilled at 9 a.m. this morning. Not for one hot minute did I have to stand in line at John P. Murzyn Hall in Columbia Heights, Minn. Just marched right up, gave my name, signed on the dotted line, listened to an old lady give instructions (Fill in the bubble completely. Fill it in! And if you have to write someone in, PRINT IT!) and cast my vote. The whole process took 10 minutes.

And now I’m all aflutter, waiting to see some results.
