Call Me Malcolm

Hey, here’s a non-bar related activity for Pride weekend: A screening of “Call Me Malcolm,” a documentary about a transgendered 27-year-old seminary student. You can watch the movie trailer here.

Here are show times and locations:

Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26
5:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at Bell Auditorium, University of Minnesota-East Bank

Tickets are $8 for general admission, $6.50 for students, and $6 for the 5:15 p.m. matinee.

If you attend the 5:15 or 7:15 film screenings, you’ll also get to experience Fred Phelps and his crew, of God Hates Fags fame. No extra admission fee will be charged for the treat of enjoying that circus.

Thanks to Andy for the info. I’ll be there Saturday. You should be, too.

Hi Aaron: Did some on-line research on the film. It sounds powerful. I'll definitely try to attend - will just tell my parents I have to attend ANOTHER engagement party...

In other news, another date crashed on my head.
I give up.

Plenty of time for dates, Haris. Plenty of time. (Which is what I also keep telling myself.)

But only little time till all my hair falls out, Aaron darling. (I'm getting paranoid because my older brother is now completely bald)

Bald doesn't have to be a bad thing ...

You're absolutely right SparklesMpls. Unfortunately, though, I have been strictly trained in the "why make the best of something when you can whine about it instead" school of thought.

Bald is good (I'm good).

Hells yeah, bald is good. Even bald by choice. Just take it all off, haris.
