Suddenly, There was Light

Don’t you love it when there is a big meeting scheduled that requires lots of preparation and there isn’t enough time for all of that work and so you’re kind of worried about how everything is going to be ready in time and as the meeting draws nearer the feeling of dread deepens and then suddenly, the day before the meeting, your client calls and has to cancel it and reschedule to another time that surely won’t be until at least January and you pretend to be sad that it’s cancelled but really you’re lifting your imploring eyes to the sky and giving thanks?

Just wondering.

Are you talking about my week?
Because that's exactly what happened yesterday.
"Red Remains" is beautiful, Aaron. The title is cool too.

Oh GOD I wish this would happen to me within the next couple of weeks. But I have a feeling that none of my instructors are going to say "oh... well, the final critiques can be done a week later!" Haha... oh well, the next few weeks I'm bustin' ass! Hey-oo!

That just happened to me tonight! I have two evening classes, and was equally unprepared for both.

Then we got a blizzard and class was cancelled.

There is a God.

I love when you don't even know about the meeting and then falsely claim that your cell phone wouldn't work because nobody bothered to tell you so the higher-ups think you're an f-ing loser.

I somehow managed to muck that up and make myself look like an f-ing loser (again!). Should be: "...about the meeting [because nobody bothered to tell you] and then [they] falsely claim..." Yeah.

Is that how you really feel when I cancel lunch plans with you? And hear I thought the sadness was genuine. ;)

Perhaps the sadness should surround my poor grammer when using hear and here. ;)
